本堂

本堂は、寺院の中心となる場所であり、ご本尊をお祀りするお堂としての「本尊堂」が省略し本堂と呼ばれています。

圓隆寺のご本尊は、久遠実成（くおんじつじょう）本師釈迦牟尼佛を奉安しています。脇には鬼子母神を始めとする諸天善神や圓隆寺歴代の住職の位牌をお祀りしています。

天井は、圓隆寺檀信徒各家の家紋で彩られ、総金箔漆塗りの重厚な作りとなっており全国的に見ても、この様な形態の天井の構成は珍しいものとなっています。

※本堂は、防犯上の理由により通常時は閉堂しております。年中行事や法要の際にはご覧いただけます。

The main hall (hondo) is the central place of the temple and is called the "Honzon-do" (hall for the principal deity) in reference to the hall that enshrines the main deity. At Enryū-ji Temple, the principal deity enshrined is the "Kuon Jitsujō" Shakyamuni Buddha. To the side, various benevolent gods, including the goddess Kisimojin, and the memorial tablets of the successive head priests of Enryū-ji Temple are enshrined.

The ceiling is adorned with the family crests of the temple’s parishioners and is crafted in a luxurious, gold-leaf lacquered style. This type of ceiling structure is quite rare even on a national scale.

Note: The main hall is normally closed for security reasons. However, it can be viewed during annual events and memorial services.
